Und wie könnte eine Stadt aussehen, die auf Care, urbaner Teilhabe und Kollektivität basiert?

Die künstlerisch-forschende Intervention „Care and the City“ verwandelt das Domshof Forum in der Bremer Innenstadt für drei Tage in einen Care-Raum.

Zwischen künstlerischer Installation, Workshops, Performance, Vortrag und Gespräch entstehen Prototypen fürsorglicher Stadträume.

Am Donnerstag startet CARE AND THE CITY – ein temporärer Care-Raum mitten in der Bremer Innenstadt.

Ob mit Kind(ern) unterwegs oder einfach neugierig auf neue Formen von Fürsorge, Stadt und Gemeinschaft – komm vorbei, mach mit, tauch ein!

“Strings of Care: We weave a network”
Conversations, gestures and threads intertwine into a collective net of care –
a feminist workshop between artistic practice, daily experience and shared reflection.

How can a more caring city look and feel?

With contributions by:
– Clara Alisch – artist and researcher on feminist spatial practices and (in)visible care work
– Dr. Rosanna Umbach – art historian exploring how housing and gender intersect in art, architecture, and society.
– Sonja Broy – project manager (UMZU / Innenstadt Bremen), works on participatory urban design and diverse inner-city use
– Marieke Behne – architect and founder of projekt.büro Hamburg, researching experiential knowledge in housing production
